Regional
appalachia to gulf south
Jess focuses on teamwork within communities and supporting a just, safe transition away from plastic production, with a primary focus on Appalachia. In the Gulf South, she collaborates with local leaders to address the deep-rooted, generational systemic injustices tied to the entire lifecycle of plastic production.
National
ban vinyl chloride
After a disaster in her own community, Jess discovered that vinyl chloride—a key chemical in PVC plastic production—was harming other communities as well. She now leads a national campaign to ban vinyl chloride.
